While local restaurants are encouraging everyone to "dine out" or "dine around" , I'm a fan of the "dine in" experience! It's been a full year since I began this project -- see "table talk" for the original story. Why so long? I just didn't know what to do with it, plus the apartment it was intended for (Two Sons' and a Fiancee's) didn't need a dining table at that time. But, one year (and a fair bit of deliberation and research) later... it's done!
The top is simply oiled with food-grade Hemp oil, and the base is painted with Canadian-made zero-VOC mineral paint, though I'm not sure the dog appreciates those details.
