The household enthusiasm for fermented foods continues and as today is our anniversary it seemed a little bubbly should be on the menu!

Admittedly, this is not the traditional bubbly served up on occasions such as this... so let's just call it another "do-over"...


I haven't had much success with sourdough starters in the past, but this one is quite enthusiastic. In fact it tried to escape its mason jar and cheesecloth container today!

What says "Aren't you glad you've spent the last 28 years with me?" better than that kind of bubbly?
